Meet Harley Quinn
Rebarkable Pets was founded in June 2023. Harley had just been diagnosed in November of the year prior with diabetes.
Did you know your pet could get diabetes? This was news to me.
To say our lives were turned upside down doesn’t begin to capture reality, I had to quickly learn how to inject her with insulin twice a day, monitor her glucose levels, and make an entire diet and lifestyle change. The constant stress and anxiety for the fear of losing my best friend was unbearable.
I turned to doing as much research as possible in an attempt to gain control over something I had no control of at the time. I needed to feel confident that I was giving her the best chance at “normal.”
HarleyQuinn, this little sugar baby, took and continues to take it all in her stride like an absolute warrior; she puts me to shame.
Out of the chaos and uncertainty, Rebarkable Pets was born.
Initially conceived as a means to offset the new financial burden brought on by Harley’s condition, it very soon turned into a very rewarding entrepreneurial venture driven by passion for pets and their wellbeing.
Today, Rebarkable Pets stands as a testament to the power of love, perseverance, and the bond between humans and their furry companions. Our journey is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always light to be found, and from adversity, great things can emerge.
